Super Junior is taking a vacation

Super Junior will be enjoying a sweet vacation for a little bit.

The boys have had quite a hectic year so far, with their fourth album, third Asia tour, “Super Show 3“, and the “SMTOWN LIVE ‘10 WORLD TOUR.” On top of those group activities, each member has been keeping themselves busy with all kinds of individual events.

The members will start their break at the beginning of October, and they will have their own free time for about a week.

Shindong and Siwon will keep working due to their dramas.  Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Eunhyuk will travel together to Italy, and Heechul will go meet someone he knows in the States.

Yoon Eun Hae takes selka pictures at Chanel party, “Like twins”

Seoul, Korea – Yoon Eun Hae is getting attention for her selka pictures.

On the 29^th, Yoon Eun Hae posted pictures on her Twitter with the words “Went to the Chanel Winter Party”. The pictures showed her attending the Chanel party wearing an all-black outfit with a smoky type makeup

A fashion icon, Yoon Eun Hae displayed her fashion sense at the party itself. Wearing all-black from head to toe, Yoon Eun Hae places the focus on her jacket and boots.

She especially was fetching when she took a shot in front of the mirror. Making it seem as if she’s with her twin, Yoon Eun Hae shows off a playful expression with her sexy makeup.

Netizens responded with various remarks such as “Really seems like you’re twins. It’s surprising”, “So beautiful”, “Can’t wait for your next project”, and “The fashion icon Yoon Eun Hae attends a Chanel party”.

Time Magazine Says Kpop is Going Global!

Big props for Johnny Noh and AllKpop for knowing that Kpop was going to be big and Time Magazine is now recognizing that.  Time interviewed Johnny and others about the growing popularity of Korean pop music.

“Korean artists are now out there,” says Johnny Noh, who runs the (AllKpop) site. “People like [Korean artists] and want to know more about them.”

For many artists in Korea’s booming music industry, social media like YouTube and Twitter have become crucial tools to reach audiences in formerly hard-to-access markets like the U.S. and Europe. 

Korean artists are bypassing traditional outlets like radio and television, “aggressively steering their efforts to go international via the Internet,” says Bernie Cho, president of DFSB Kollective, a Seoul-based agency specializing in the international marketing of Korean pop acts. 

“Social-media-savvy K-pop stars are now tweeting, YouTubing and Facebooking their way up music charts across and beyond Asia.”

2NE1’s previous stylist Yang Seung Ho (aka Yanggeng) and Danny Lee (aka Sexy Danny Lee) have always placed the girls in trend-setting styles. During April-May 2010 period, YG Entertainment changed 2NE1’s stylist as Yang Seung Ho began his military service and Daniel decided to go back to London to further his studies. Now, Seo Han Young and Lee Han Jung, designers for the underground label Viva-H ( http://viva-h.blogspot.com/), and good friends of Yanggeng and Danny, are 2NE1′s new female styling duo.

With a change of stylists and changes in their hairstyles (since Etude House’s Pink Play Concert), 2NE1 girls showed different sides of themselves.

 In their latest endorsement with the casual jeans brand, Ga-In and Narsha took center stage and displayed a pretty, fun and tomboy-ish feel. Looking extremely beautiful in little to no make-up with some eyeliner and eyeshadow, I must say that all that was needed to make the shoot work is Narsha’s sultry smile and Ga-In’s stunning eyes.
